Which Side Are You On? ...Day 30

Baron Hill will be at IUS this evening to hold a discussion on current issues. Look for health care reform to be at the top of the list, if not the only thing on it. If you have followed these postings with any regularity and read the links provided here, my view on this matter should be clear: health care reform is vital to the overall success of the Obama administration; it constitutes his compact with the electorate, failure, or what can reasonably be defined as failure, puts his second term out of reach. The majority of sources cited here have not been sanguine about a positive outcome.

For a more hopeful view, read this. Such an outcome would be correctly called a success.

I attended Barron Hills Healthcare from at IUS. He was rude, arrogant, and insulting. I hope it's true he's running for governor his days are numbered as far as I am concerned. Me and my fellow democrat will VOTE Republican to get him out of office.
That goes for Mayor England too.

Anon.

Please do vote Republican, since you obviously do not support the Democratic platform of health care for all, which has been a goal of the Democratic Party since Harry Truman, if not earlier. Nor do you have an understanding of what constitutes rudeness. Booing and heckling are not Democratic principles - big D and small d. Rep. Hill handled the hostile audience extremely well. It was apparent that many attendees were not interested in obtaining information or even accepting proven facts (such as the inherited deficits and the cost of the war begun by the previous Administration). Please go away.

I'm a Republican and I find the Republican critics of the President just sickening. Me and my fellow republican will VOTE Democrat to keep Obama and Hill in office.

It's easy to do when you're anonymous...
